Recalibration
FieldSENSE personal RF monitors come standard with an extended 3-year traceable calibration, providing long-term confidence in measurement accuracy and compliance. Each device is calibrated against recognised standards, ensuring reliable performance throughout its operational life.
Once the initial calibration period expires, the calibration can be renewed, allowing devices to remain fully traceable and compliant. This extended calibration interval lowers maintenance costs and supports efficient management for organisations and workers alike.
Refurbishment
Our dedicated refurbishment program offers a quick-turnaround device exchange, providing a unit fitted with new enclosure components, that has been subjected to comprehensive production testing, and traceable RF calibration.
Each refurbished device is backed by a 12-month limited warranty, ensuring continued confidence in performance, accuracy, and reliability – minimising downtime and costs while improving operational efficiency for organisations and workers operating in RF-exposed environments. This program delivers a user experience comparable to a new unit.
Traceability
Alphawave Mobile Network Products (Pty) Ltd, the designer and manufacturer of the fieldSENSE range of products, is accredited by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) in accordance with the recognised International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017, demonstrating competence for a defined scope in electromagnetic testing. Results and reports issued under this accreditation are recognised internationally through the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA).
The facility is accredited by SANAS as an electromagnetic testing facility to calibrate electromagnetic field sensors according to IEEE Std 1309:2013 (10 MHz to 40 GHz). The facility follows the same guidelines for frequencies above 40 GHz.
The facility holds separate certification to the recognised International Standard ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System, demonstrating commitment to quality, continual improvement, meeting customer expectations, and improving performance.
Warranty
FieldSENSE devices are supplied with a limited warranty, with new units covered for two years and refurbished units covered for 12 months. The warranty period for new devices is valid from the original calibration date. Warranty coverage applies only to devices purchased through officially authorised reseller channels, ensuring product authenticity, quality assurance, and full support eligibility.
